Lallana Rested for Rovers Game

Lallana Rested for Rovers Game

Brighton away is a massive game for our club and the fact that Adam could have been selected for the Rovers game but was rested is a big plus.

Nigel said that Adam's injury is not a full tear and though there is a problem he should be fit for the run-in after a rest and rehabilitation.

Nigel said on the OS, 'you want to keep him available and I made the judgement call to leave him out and get him fully fit for the remaining games.'

'We can get a good bit of rehab into him and get him confident in his own body so all being well in the next game that we have got he will be firing on all cylinders and raring to go.'

I am pleased that we have a manager who has the confidence in the team to get a result when Adam is not playing and this should bode well for the remaining matches.

The news on Lee Barnard is that lee is resting at home for now and his injury will be assessed at the end of the week.

If he could make a return before the season finishes it would be a big boost as well.

Though the next game will be tough the fact that Adam should be back will be a big plus for the team and for the fans travelling to the Withdean.

Be good if Adam can play for the last five games and in full health.
