Rickie Lambert Can't Wait For Next Season
The thought of playing second tier football is a mouth watering prospect for our Liverpudlian striking machine.
He told Saints Player: 'A club like this meant we were disappointed not to get close last season, but I was confident that we could go up this year and we've done it, so I just can't wait now.'
Rickie went on to say how hard it has been with Huddersfield keeping up with us every step of the way as we battled for the second promotion position.
Having never reached the second tier of English football before, Rickie says that he has plenty to prove to both himself and others, that he is capable of doing the business.
Us Saints fans have few doubts about our talisman and are looking forward to cheering his goals as we tour new venues.
