Nigel Adkins Up For Manager Of Month

Nigel Adkins Up For Manager Of Month

Since arriving at our club, Nigel has gone about the business of turning round our fortunes in a quiet and unassuming way.

His calmness and planning has led to us gaining the sought after promotion and he is well worth such an honour.

Nigel came when we were in 22nd place in the league and quickly showed that the size of the job bore him no fears.

During April his record reads seven wins and one loss which was away at Rochdale. The wins were against MK Dons H, Charlton H, Leyton A, Bristol Rovers H, Brighton A, Hartlepool H, and Brentford A.

These wins included a win at champions Brighton and two games against other teams fighting for promotion.

I wish Nigel luck and hope that he gets some recognition for the job that he has done for us this season.
