Period Of Inactivity On Site
Unfortunately there will be a lack of activity on the site for the next two weeks because I will be away. During this period I will not be able to write any articles but have asked other Vital Editors if they will kindly submit their articles regarding possible Saints transfers for publication on Vital Southampton.
After I return from holiday there will be some exciting things to look forward to on the site.
The Saints Legends Series will be continuing with recollections from some of Saints classic matches and cult heroes.
There will be up to the minute news regarding all transfers and other news surrounding the club.
There will be dedicated and detailed match reports of all of Saints' matches.
Also Vital Southampton hopes to bring readers an interview with the editor of Vital Derby before our eagerly awaited opening match of the season.

Period of inactivity, have the Daleks invaded Southampton and exterminated all their fanbase. When your leading poster has 4 points I'd say your site is about to fold. We don't want that, we want it to survive so we can come back from time to time.....and you know gloat. Maybe we should just discuss Pompey stuff on here. Squatters rights and all........ Thompson should be a good signing, don't ya think. Glad lua lua and hughes have signed new contracts. Anelka on the horizon? i'm having my doubts about that one.

Skacel signs for Southampton,with respect it must obviously be Burleys influence because I dont see Southampton being any better or bigger than Hearts. Skacel is a fine player with unique skills, but can be lazy with poor concentration. He has been on the fringes of his national side but because of his sometimes poor work rate has failed to impress. I think Hearts got an excellent price for him, considering he only made an effort in the first part of last season. However good player. I think Burley will bring the best out of him.
