Saints Retained and Released List

Saints Retained and Released List

Radhi Jaidi as we know has signed for another year which should be a good signing as his experience will undoubtedly be of help to the youngsters that are coming through.

Danny Butterfield has had his contract AUTOMATICALLY RENEWED along with Aaron Martin and Dan Harding.

I guess this will be make or break season for the three of them. Harding is a solid enough left back and Butterfield has done well for us at right back.

I am hoping that young Martin can push his case for a more lengthy contract by forcing his way into our team on a regular basis.

David Connolly is worthy of a new deal along similar lines as well after finally getting some serious match time as he helped us big time to climb over the final hurdle last season.

Gobern I am still not convinced will make the grade and will leave my trust in the management to decide whether they feel he can.

Slightly disappointed by the Ryan Tafazolli decision but we are not short of CB's at the moment so it will probably be in his best interests to move on for some match time.

I wonder whether someone like Bournemouth could offer him a deal or whether he will go back to Salisbury where he did quite well last season when on loan.

Pulis I am pleased to see go as he was a total waste of time and money. Argent, Garrod and McNish should all be able to further their careers and may even do well once over the disappointment.

For all of the players that we have released I wish them well as they try to make it in our beautiful game.

Bett you are a bit happier seeing that all six of our out of contract players were offered extensions. Hope they all accept the terms and keep our team morale high.
