Southampton Have First Game At Home

Southampton Have First Game At Home

With the news that we have a really stern test to start the season, I am looking forward to seeing a full house against the Yorkshire giants.

Leeds climbed up to the Championship alongside Millwall and Norwich for last season and had a good start to life back at the higher level.

The next home game will be against the blues of Millwall so our start will not be an easy one. Millwall also had a good first season back in the Championship.

Xmas will come early though as we will be at Fratton Park hoping for an early present of three points a week before the holiday.

New year also sees us start with an away game that will give us a great deal of anticipation. Our first visit to the Amex Stadium for Brighton.

Seeing the list of fixtures brings home finally the fact that we are now a Championship side.

At first glance there are some really good games set up for our winter weekends and not too many bad Tuesday night fixtures, though we will be facing Cardiff home and away on Tuesday nights.

Nice easy game for starters. No change there then if we play like normal on day 1

Actually think we have a pretty difficult start to the campaign. September is even harder looking than August.

Wow!! That is not gonna be easy. Should have a big gate for this game. Back in with some serious teams now.

The championship is a fantastic league this season so i for one do not expect any easy games. Really looking forward to it though
