Hooiveld wants to stay at Saints
Defender Jos Hooiveld wants to extend his loan spell at St.Mary's from Celtic.
Hooiveld has impressed since arriving on the south coast - and the Dutch defender wants to extend his loan spell.
Speaking to BBC Radio Solent, he said: 'I am here until January but I am very open to staying, yes.'
Hooiveld scored his second goal for the Saints which turned out to be the winner against Peterborough on Tuesday night.
And the 28-year-old was delighted to score to decisive goal.
'To get the goal was great as it proved to be the winner so I am very pleased with that,' he told BBC Solent.
'The partnership with Jose Fonte gets better and better. You need some time to get used to each other and I'm really getting the feeling of starting to know him well.'
