Southampton vs Brighton

Southampton host Brighton on Saturday as the two promoted sides battle it out for the south coast bragging rights.

Since promotion, the two sides have had mixed fortunes. The Hampshire outfit sit five points clear at the top of the table - while the Seagulls have only won once in their last ten league games.

SAINTS TEAM NEWS:

Former Brighton left-back Dan Harding will miss out after picking up a knee injury in training.

Manager Nigel Adkins has been shuffling his midfield, and will have to decide whether to include former Seagull Dean Hammond to partner either Jack Cork or Morgan Schneiderlin in the middle.

BRIGHTON TEAM NEWS:

Defender Marcos Painter is now available for Gus Poyet.

Vicente and Will Hoskins could also feature after recovering from their injuries.

MATCH PREDICTION:

SAINTS 3 - 2 Brighton
