The league leaders travel to Bristol City on Saturday.
Southampton are on the back of a 3-0 home win over Brighton, which helped the Saints maintain their five point lead at the top of the table.
Bristol City, on the other hand, are experiencing a tough time in the second tier.
The Robins have only won once at home this season - and the Saints will be looking to take all three points back to the south coast.
BRISTOL CITY TEAM NEWS:
Jon Stead remains injured, while Louis Carey ad Jamie McAllister could feature for Bristol City.
SAINTS TEAM NEWS:
Left-back Dan Harding could start for the Saints after recovering from a knee injury - but Danny Fox has played well in his absence so Nigel Adkins is likely to start the same team that beat Brighton.
Striker Lee Barnard came on in last Saturday's victory and could play a part.
