Rednapp - No Going Back

Rednapp - No Going Back

Harry Redknapp has laughed off reports linking him with a return to Portsmouth. The Southampton boss resigned his managers seat at Portsmouth last November after 32 months in charge. He reportedly left due to a strained relationship with 'hands on' chairman Milan Mandaric. Redknapp assured Pompey fans he wouldn't be taking up the managers job at Southampton then promptly did so!

Rednapp said: 'If I said I wanted to go back now I would be crucified. That's all I need.'

When asked about the links he retorted: 'Do me a favour, I have a job at Southampton and have never been asked to go back.'
