Countdown To Saints Vs Coventry

Vital Coventry editor Alex Wolstenholme has kindly given Vital Southampton an interview before the forthcoming match between Coventry City and Southampton at St Marys on Wednesday evening.....

Where do you think Coventry will finish this season?

Coventry have to be looking at a play-off place after finishing 8th last season and bringing in a number of new players.

Who is Coventry's most dangerous player?

Most dangerous player has to be Gary McSheffrey. Fast and tricky, he gets a lot of joy by cutting in from the left-hand side.

What are your side's strengths?

Main strength last season was going forward where we had a good combination of pace, power and skill with Dele Adebola, McSheffrey and Stern John.

What are your side's weaknesses?

No weakness as such but we have got a new goalkeeper and a couple of new defenders so they may not be fully in tune with each other yet.

Which Saints player do you think is the most dangerous?

Rudi Skacel looked really good for Hearts last season and should cause most Championship teams some problems.

What do you think the result will be?

Result? I'd settle for a 1-1 draw.

Thank you Alex for taking the time to give this interview.

Funny how the only people that discuss anything on this site aren't even saints fans. What a joke.
