Saints Have No Need To Panic

Several places in the media have begun to suggest that we have now been found out. That our style of play is now stereotyped.

I don't agree, and feel that with some more accurate shooting we would have won at least one more of these games. We are still making chances and will return to winning ways.

Thinking back to season 08/09 you will see that we were relegated with a total of 45 points. If we win on Saturday it will see us hit the same number of points. I

or one am more than happy with our current position.

Nigel Adkins has already stated that he will be looking to reinforce our squad which adds to my belief that yes, we can stay at or near the top of the Championship.

Our current downturn in form comes with the loss of Richard Chaplow through injury. We have missed his high energy playing style and abrasive up and at them nature.

David Connolly has also been missed as has Lee Barnard who last season had a good partnership with our talisman Rickie Lambert.

Saturday is the day we meet our friendly rivals

n the east side of Hampshire. No time for faint hearts here.

Shout the boys home and let's bring all talk of a slump to an end with the three very valuable points.

We certainly miss Chaplow's energy in midfield. We also need Jack Cork to return to his form that he had at the start of the season. He started the season so well - but he's definitely gone off the boil. He can be such an influential player, and we need him back to his best!

I agree that Cork hasn't shown as prominently recently but am left wondering how much of this is down to the side missing Chappers.
