Lallana Right To Stay At Saints

Lallana Right To Stay At Saints

He told the Daily Mirror: 'When I signed the contract I did not see it as a gamble even though we were in League One at the time.'

Though there were Premier league clubs chasing him, Adam stayed put after signing a new five year contract.

After seeing the club slide down to Division One, Adam saw that there was a lot of scope and promise with the arrival of the new regime.

Adam said that he could always see the fact that the club would be going places, and felt comfortable in the knowledge that he believed the club could soon give him Premiership football.

Having been at the club for a long time seeing the possibilities made the decision an easy one to make.

As a Saints fan all I can say is, we all believe in the possibility as well. The club is on the up and we are all beginning to feel that promotion back to the top level is more than just a pipe dream.
