'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Saints Youngster Martin Enjoying His Chance

Talking on the Saints Player Aaron admitted that he has enjoyed his time but wishes that he had been able to return with us winning and not losing. though he feels he has done fairly well he says it is frustrating not being able to get a win under his belt.

Aaron admits that he has a tough job in trying to stake a claim for a regular start as Fonte and Hooiveldt have struck up such a useful partnership. With both playing so well he feels it is a hard ask for him to get more game time.

Aaron added, 'We've got two great centre halves here, but I've been working as hard as I can in training and listening to the coaches and other players. Radhi, José and Jos have all been great to me and I ask them so many questions they must get annoyed! That's what I'm here for though, to learn, and I've learnt so much already so I don't see why that should stop.'

He also said that the defeat at Brighton was so disappointing because Saints could and probably should have been two goals to the good before the wheels fell off. The team has now gotten over the loss and they are looking forward to the Coventry game with the intention of returning to winning ways.

Let's hope we can get a win tomorrow for you Aaron.

Well Aaron got his wish and even managed to score the winner to cap the day off for him.
