Championship Leaders Saturday Night Will Be?

Current leaders Southampton have hit a horrible blip in form which could see them lose their position as leaders if they fail to beat Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

On paper with Saints top it is a game that the leaders should win. Their form has been dodgy of late and so this is a game that may not be as easy as it looks.

When these clubs met at St Mary's Forest made life hard for Saints before losing to a late goal in their 3-2 defeat.

West Ham have very good away form and will fancy their chances at Pompey. Pompey though are a hard working outfit that never gives in and they could foil the Hammers if they can find the net.

Middlesbrough have been drawing to many games at home and this has cost them dear. Barnsley are another side that is full of hard working pros but I see Boro' winning by the odd goal.

Cardiff are playing at Doncaster who although beating Saints recently have not set the world on fire. I can not see anything other than a Cardiff win which will keep the pressure on the other three.

So who do I feel will be top after the games listed? Won't be much of a surprise to any, but I have to say Southampton.

Still as it was with both of the top two leading 1-0 away.

Connolly scores for Saints to lead 2-0

Morgan Schneiderlin with the goal of the day surely.

Boro still trail 0-2 to Burnley and Cardiff drawing 0-0 at Doncaster which all helps.
