Saint Lee Taking A Big Gamble

Saint Lee Taking A Big Gamble

The 26 year old striker has been expected to join the exodus of Japanese players to Europe for a while, but it had been thought that he would be heading to the German Bundesliga.

Lee admitted that though he was almost guaranteed a start in every game whilst in Japan he wanted to face a bigger challenge.

Southampton made him the best all round package and he feels that the style used by the club will suit his way of playing. He knows that it is a huge gamble but feels it is one worth taking as he tries to improve his game. He is certain that he will achieve his target by joining the Saints.

For the last two seasons Lee has been the leading scorer at his club and he is hopeful that he will do well over here on the south coast with Southampton. It may be a gamble but with his determination to succeed it is one that could bring it's own rewards if successful.

his article comes from a report made for the Daily Yomuiri in Japan.
