Falque Impresses Manager Adkins

Falque Impresses Manager Adkins

He said, 'Yago Falque has settled in very well. He will be ready to start straight away. He has come in and his fitness levels are already very good and is part of the group now.'

Describing the youngster Nigel added that he was a small, Spanish-type player who is technically gifted.

He added that he saw him at Solent University for his fitness tests where the lad worked very hard. He has also trained with the first team and on Thursday did some conditioning work.

Nigel thinks he is ready and could pick him for the Leicester game on Monday.

Talking about our other incoming player, Tadanari Lee he said that Lee was still in Japan where he was finishing the paperwork from that end.

Nigel doesn't seem to think he will be back for the Leicester game but is more than hopefull that he may be available for the following game at Millwall in the FA Cup.

Im really looking for ward to seeing how he gets on with you for the rest of the season. he has played a few Europa league games for Spurs this season and has looked pretty good to be honest, he looks to have the typical Spanish excellent technical ability, couples with good vision. at times he can dwell on the ball and try to do a little too much, but that may well be doen to trying to impress of simply lacking game experience. I have a feeling that he will be a great signing for you guys and hope he contributes to your gaining promotion, especially if its at the expense of West Ham :-)

I'm really excited by this signing and cannot wait to see Falque play as I've heard very good things from friends that support Spurs. Let's hope he plays against Leicester and makes an immediate impact!

Thanks oxfordspur and I have a feeling that his coming here will be a good thing for both of our clubs. Both clubs try to play football and with Nigel and the backroom staff I am certain we can help Yago develop still further.
