In their article they say as follows, 'Saints face this season's Carling Cup Finalists Cardiff City, as the division's second and third placed teams go head to head in another hotly anticipated league encounter.'
'The match rounds off the month of January, and as the transfer window also slams shut, there will be the chance to see some new faces on show at St. Mary's with Japanese striker Tadanari Lee set to make his home bow.'
Now it could simply be a printing error but in the second paragraph we see them saying that we could see some new faces for the game.
They mention our Japanese striker Tadanari Lee but he is a single face. We have already seen Yago Falque and to date there are no more signings that haven't been seen.
So does this mean that our club is more than hopeful of bringing in someone else to add to the squad? I know that I am hoping we do succeed in getting some more players, and maybe we could see a centre back and/or a goalkeeper.
Guess we will have to wait for the game as our club isn't in the habit of issuing information on such matters early.
