Saints Expect A Spirited Game

Saints Expect A Spirited Game

The Leeds Team having a new manager will be supercharged, as they try to show him why they should be in the side every week.

Talking on Saints Player Nigel said, 'There will probably be 35,000 people in the ground so there will be a lot of noise, a great atmosphere and one that we have to go and manage as well as possible.'

I think that having recently played at Birmingham and West Ham, the thought of a packed house should hold no fears for our side. We seem to play well in big games even if not always with our fluidity, but always with plenty of grit.

As Nigel said, 'We have a big crowd at Southampton every week, so it isn't something we will worry about - West Ham a couple of weeks ago was another big one so we are used to it. We have to go up to Yorkshire and the experience that the players have gained this season puts them in a very good position.'

He went on to add that the team is on a good run and is playing well again. He also added that he isn't concerned by the new manager factor either as he feels that could put their players under more pressure to do well.

He finished by saying that though Leeds will be under pressure to win Saints will be playing to win, and believing that they can win.

With our players having had a good week training since defeating Watford it looks more promising especially with our players in such good shape.
