Ex Saint Dave Jones Moves To Hillsborough
Nobody who left the ground after the game would have expected the outcome that followed, with the dismissal of Gary Megson. Before the game maybe, but not after the win.
Milan Mandaric has moved quickly since removing Megson and has installed his new man already. A man well known to us Saints fans and one we appreciate for the job he did here.
Dave Jones, out of management since leaving Cardiff City last summer, has agreed to take on the role with chairman Milan Mandaric demanding promotion to the Championship after deeming Megson`s progress in taking the team from 15th to 3rd in a year as not enough.
His only task is to see that Wednesday get promoted. Plain and simple by the looks of it, promotion or bust. We down here wish you well Dave.

I wish him the best of luck. He was very, very unlucky at Cardiff and I'm sure he'll get Wednesday back to the Championship, and maybe further...
