Warnock Praises Saints As Best In League

Warnock Praises Saints As Best In League

Neil has a tremendous record at getting clubs promoted with seven instances to date. Leeds obviously hoping that he can get number eight with them.

Talking about the visit of Southampton for today's game he has come out with high praise for our team.

"They`re the best footballing side in the league," he said. "West Ham have been well organised, as you expect from Sam (Allardyce), but Southampton are very close.'

"Whoever finishes above those two will get automatic promotion. And it does look like being those two.'

Nice words but I hope he isn't trying to play mind games with us. I can see him playing a more defensive line-up than normal with our attacking formation being pressed and harried all the way.

He added, "They play the ball around quickly and they`re flying, full of confidence like you`d expect.'

"It`s similar to what we were like at QPR last season. We never thought we would lose a game and that`s what happens when you`re top of the league.'

"But they should go away from Elland Road knowing they`ve been in a hard game, not just us."

eckon we know we are in for a hard game Neil but am hoping you have a harder one.
