'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Lee Holmes Loaned Out Again

This time it is Swindon who wish to utilize his skills as they push for the title of Division Two champions.

The winger appeared to do well at Oxford and this has brought him to the attention of other clubs in the football league.

The Southampton winger scored twice in five starts for the U's after arriving in the middle of February but Saturday's appearance at Bradford City is likely to be his last for the club, as Chairman Kelvin Thomas explained:

'Lee did really well for us. Unfortunately we have suffered a bit with his success and a lot of clubs have been looking at him, and clubs with deeper pockets than us. Southampton will probably take that opportunity. It is a commercial decision in the end for them and I will say that Southampton have been great from the start, we got him for a decent price, and he fitted in well, but we certainly can't compete when we are talking about paying most of his wages.'

We wish you well Lee and hope that wherever you end up you do well.

Lee have had too many injuries to be able to keep pushing for a place in the team. Hope he can do the business for Swindon and get himself a contract.
