Nigel Happy With Saints Squad

Nigel Happy With Saints Squad

With the pressure building as we near the end of the season, Nigel Adkins has been using more members of the squad as he rests some of the team or replaces those with the odd niggle.

The third game in a week and third victory took its toll on some players, but Adkins was delighted to see everyone pull together to notch Saints' 15th home win of the season to remain top of the Championship with seven games to go.

Nigel is happy in the knowledge that not only do we have the numbers but we also have quality as well in the squad to back up what would normally be our starting eleven every week.

With seven games remaining and a nearly fully fit squad Nigel is confident that we have the manpower to see the job through.

I am starting to believe that this is the case and was especially pleased to see new signing Billy Sharp score a brace yesterday to further enhance this feeling.
