Saints Snare Sam Gallagher
Southampton have completed the signing of 16 year old Sam Gallagher on a youth contract.
The highly sought after striker joins the club from Plymouth Argyle's Centre of Excellence after turning down an offer from the club, and a number of offers elsewhere.
The youngster will begin his scholarship at Saints next season, but has already made his debut for our U18 side.
Speaking to saintsfc U18 coach Jason Dodd said of the player.
'We're very happy to have him here. He had a few Premiership clubs after him, but he's made the right choice coming here in my opinion. I think the reputation we have of pushing players into the first team when they're ready, and on to international recognition, was a big attraction.'
