Adkins Salutes Players

Nigel Adkins was delighted with the response of the players against Peterborough and he thinks they deserve saluting for the performance they put in.

Speaking to saintsfc after the 3-1 victory the manager said.

'I think great credit to the players. They've come away from home and passed the ball about well at times, scored some really good goals, got off to a good start and the composure shown by the players was top drawer. Great credit to the players, they take all the plaudits that come their way. The players at Southampton have had a magnificent season up until now and are fighting for the title.'
