Hooiveld Regrets Reading Chance
Jos Hooiveld has been delighted with our promotion, but he does regret the chance he had against Reading that could've seen us go up in first place.
Speaking to saintsfc as the players enjoy a good break, the Dutchman said.
'The Reading game, I should have scored. I had a good chance with a header, and I'm still a little bit gutted about that because it would have made the difference between a silver medal and a gold medal. Most goals went in on a Tuesday, but I don't know why it's like that? I was very happy with 8 goals, I've never scored eight before. I'm very pleased.'
Another eight next season would certainly be useful!
