Saints Snatch Rodriguez?
It's being reported in the press that Southampton are close to securing the signature of Burnley's Jay Rodriguez.
There are no official quotes accompanying these rumours, and depending on which outlet you read, Burnley have either accepted an offer of £6.5m or £7m for the striker or even possibly £8m.
The striker is said to be out of the country at the moment on holiday so is yet to meet the club to discuss personal terms.
The speculation has been around for a while now, but if true it's certainly a sign of intent from Southampton when it comes to next season's preparations.
