European Competition In Pre Season
Southampton have announced six friendlies for our pre season warm up, and there are some noticeable names on the schedule.
Dutch champions Ajax return to St Mary's on July 28, and the game kicks off at 3pm.
Wolverhampton Wanderers visit on August 4, with a 3pm kick off.
We then travel to Ashton Gate to face off against Bristol City on August 7, which is a late kick off at 7.45pm.
Italian outfit Udinese then complete the domestic-ish friendlies on August 11 with a midday kick off.
Southampton will also play two friendlies in France whilst we are at the Evian-les-Bains training camp.
Details of the first friendly are yet to be announced, but it's expected to take place on July 18 or 19.
The second friendly sees us up against Ligue 1 Evian Thonon Gaillard FC at the Stade Joseph-Moynat on July 21 and it kicks off at 7pm local time.
