Rangers Replaced In Memorial Cup

With the ongoing troubles for the club, Southampton have taken the decision to bring in R.S.C Anderlecht to replace them.

A statement on saintsfc said.

'Saints have revealed that Belgian Champions R.S.C Anderlecht will replace Glasgow Rangers in this year's Markus Liehberr Memorial Cup, due to the well publicised circumstances surrounding the Scottish side. The decision has not been taken lightly and has been reached with the integrity of the competition in mind, ensuring that the annual event will remain an extremely competitive experience.'

Following this move the club have introduced a special 'Champions League Bundle' which will also include the visits of Ajax and Udinese as well as entry to the Memorial Cup games.

Concessions/Young Adult/U17s/Students/Disabled - £35
U11s with 1 accompanying paying adult - Free

The full pre season campaign is as follows:

July 14 - Memorial Cup (5.15pm Saints v Anderlecht/6.45pm Arsenal v Anderlecht/8pm Saints v Arsenal)
July 18 - Etoile Carouge (away) 7pm
July 21 - Evian Thonon Galliard (away) 7pm
July 28 - Ajax (home) 3pm
August 4 - Wolves (home) 3pm
August 7 - Bristol City (away) 7.45pm
August 11 - Udinese (home) 7pm
