Saints Go Into The Lions Den

In the Carling Cup draw on Saturday lunchtime Saints were drawn against Nigel Spackman's Millwall side at the New Den.

The last time the two sides met it was in the F.A Cup 5th round in 2003, a late equaliser from Kevin Davies prevented Millwall from progressing at St Marys.

In the resulting replay an extra time winner from Matthew Oakley earned Saints a next round tie against Norwich City.

Saints will be hoping that they are in for a smoother passage into the next round this time.

The game will be played the week starting the 18th September.
