Adkins Pleased With Productive Week
Nigel Adkins has said the signing of Steven Davis has topped off a perfect week of pre season preparations.
Speaking to saintsfc the manager said about the week's trip to a Midlands Spa.
'We went there last season, there are good facilities with a superb training pitch, and it's good to get the players away to get them focused on the build up. The players have worked very hard and I'm really pleased with the levels of fitness already. For me it's been a good week. I've just traveled back down in the rain and we're delighted to have secured the services of Steve Davis.'
The team return to our normal Staplewood base on Monday, where Davis will join up for training for the first time.
