Davis Fee Agreed With Rangers

Southampton have reached an agreement with Rangers so lengthy arguments over his registration can be avoided.

Speaking to saintsfc Davis said of the progress.

'I'm delighted to get everything sorted. There was an element of uncertainty at how long it would take to get the transfer papers through, so I have to give credit to the Executive Chairman Nicola Cortese for wanting to get it done. Now we can move forward.'

In another piece on saintsfc Davis also talked about looking forward to getting onto the pitch as he nears fitness following his summer injury.

'Things are coming along well, I have been doing a lot of work with the physios this week, and I have been building up the strength in my leg. I've managed to join in a few of the sessions with the lads, so I'm not too far away now. Hopefully within the next week or two I will be back on the pitch.'
