Adkins Sees Progress
Nigel Adkins has said the training camp has been hugely beneficial for our Premiership preparations and the win against Evian shows the progress we have made.
Speaking to saintsfc Adkins said.
'It's a victory, but it's not about the victories at the moment, it's about the progression. The lads' level of fitness are up, it was a good game for us. Punch scored a good goal and could have had another, Jay has had a header where the keeper has had to make a great save. We kept the ball very well and we had a good defensive shape.'
The following comment is testament to our performance.
'I know from speaking with Morgan after the game that he heard some of their players running around saying they didn't have a clue how to deal with us, so that is pleasing.'
