Idiakez Joins Saints

Idiakez Joins Saints

Well deadline day fever has finally hit St Marys..well not quite!

Whilst West Ham were off signing Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano Saints quietly went about their business and it probably went unnoticed on Sky Sports News when it was announced that Inigo Idiakez had been undertaking a medical at St Marys.

The midfielder, who has also played under George Burley for Derby County has signed a two year deal.

The 32 year old midfield player will add some creative insight into a Saints midfield that has lacked imagination in recent games.

The signing is George Burley's eleventh of the summer.

Will probably have been influenced by Rasiak but they did well at Derby together so could be promising for you.

He looks older than Mr Burns. Ugly man. He will fit in well at St Mary's
