'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hooiveld Hoping For Villa Return

Jos Hooiveld is hopeful that his calf won't be an issue following the Arsenal game, as he's hoping to help us to points against Aston Villa.

Speaking to saintsfc ahead of the game the Dutchman talked about his disappointment at leaving the field after only 28 minutes against Arsenal.

'I was gutted about that. First you get an own goal and then you can't continue the game so you can't set anything straight. I'm working hard on my rehab to make sure I get back as soon as possible.'

As for the Arsenal result itself, Hooiveld admits we just have to move on and put it behind us.

'It was disappointing but it's something you have to get over. We can't do anything about it, so it's onto the next one. We have to man up and get a smile back on our faces so we can enjoy our football.'
