'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Artur Boruc Signs On

Saints have tonight announced that goalkeeper Artur Boruc will join the club until the end of the season.

The 32 year old was available on a free transfer after leaving Fiorentina in the summer.

Speaking to saintsfc after the deal had been done, Boruc said.

'I'm looking forward to playing in the best league in the world while I'm playing here at Southampton. I missed football, so I'm really glad I'm here and found the club I was looking for.'

Adkins was obviously pleased with the move, saying that Boruc would provide valuable experience and cover as the season progresses.
