'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jay In Confident Mood After Brace

Jay Rodriguez doesn't really mind who Saints draw in the next round, he's happy to face anybody.

Speaking to saintsfc after grabbing his first two competitive goals in a Saints shirt, Jay said of the Cup draw.

'I think we'll take any team that comes. Reaching the last 16 is a great achievement but we want to go further, so we'll take any team and show them how good we are.'

Rodriguez was obviously delighted with his own form on the night, and now he knows he has to push on further.

'To get on the pitch and to get 90 minutes is great for me. I just want to play, and to get two goals is brilliant. I'm chuffed.'
