Bale Wins Award

Saints wonderkid left back Gareth Bale was revealed as Powerade Player Of The Month by Chris Kamara on Goals On Sunday.

Bale has been in stunning form for the Saints over the past month, he hit the headlines by scoring two scorching free kicks against Derby County and Coventry City.

Bale missed out on the Vital Southampton Player Of The Month award and surprisingly he was not even named in the top three.

The runners up for the award were Cardiff City's Joe Ledley and Norwich City's Robert Earnshaw.

Well Done Gareth!
