Hooiveld - We'll Show We've Learnt
Jos Hooiveld has said that both he and the team have taken on board the various lessons we have been taught so far this campaign, and everybody is ready to show we have learnt from them.
Speaking to saintsfc ahead of the Fulham clash, the defender admitted his own record hasn't been that good, but it's something he wants to set right over the coming games.
'You look at my record this season, giving away an own goal and two penalties in three games which doesn't look good. As a defender, yes, you have to tackle but at this level you have got to pick your moments better and stay on your feet.'
Fulham will be a good test, and I believe Berbatov may be out? which will help, but as we've seen so far if we cut out our own errors and play our game we are more than a match for teams in this division.
Another 3 points tomorrow would go a long way.
