Schneiderlin Raring To Go

Schneiderlin Raring To Go

Morgan Schneiderlin has said he can't wait to get back on the pitch following the international break.

Speaking to saintsfc Schneiderlin talked about Southampton having to improve defensively across the pitch so we can pick up more clean sheets because everybody knows we can score given the chances, but equally everybody knows we can't stop conceding, and despite him covering more ground than anyone else in the league on average, Morgan admitted he needed to improve his game as well because the whole club want to stay in this division.

'It was good to recharge the batteries and now I'm ready for the next couple of games. I've enjoyed every minute of it so far and I want to progress to be the best that I can from each game, I want to improve still because I think there are some parts of my game that I can improve on.'

As for our inability to stop conceding, he said.

'We press hard and talk to each other, last year it worked, but we need to be better in this league. If we can keep a clean sheet or stop conceding some goals then we know we will score and we will win games. We need to prove that we cannot concede as well.'
