New Date For Chelsea Away

New Date For Chelsea Away

None of us particularly enjoy midweek travel but Chelsea on Wednesday January 16th shouldn't be too bad.

The original fixture was due to be played last month but was prevented from taking place due to the Blues' involvement in the FIFA Club World Cup.

The new date is also the date for a replay if we happen to draw on Saturday at home to the Blues. If we do draw then the replay takes precedence and the fixture will again have to be re-arranged.

Saints fc will give details of ticket arrangements in the near future hoping that we can get the game out of the way. Weather permitting as well.

My bad - it was in the title, although you can't see it on this page for some reason.

Given the choice points more important than next round of the cup so no replay please.

Agree we don't want a replay, but I'd love a positive result to keep confidence going. At the worst though we make it hard and they sneak a lucky win so it's disappointment not oh F... come the end of 90 minutes. Still think we might pull off a shock though and I don't know why...I also certainly don't want to eat those words in 24 hours.

I won't say I have a hunch but I am having a fiver on us at 3-2.
