Martin Returns From Palace
Aaron Martin has returned to Southampton today after it was mutually agreed to end his loan spell in London.
Although the deal was initially meant to be until the end of the season, Martin has only made six appearances for the club.

Aaron got dealt a bad hand when he went to Palace and it was one that he couldn't overcome.Sadly he has dropped further down the pecking order and it wouldn't surprise me if he moves on.

To be fair I thought the move might work for him with Freedman and the way he supported youth at Palace, but he never quite seemed to get his foot in the door and seemed to be a casualty of their opening to the season from what I can tell. I'm not sure I'd get rid yet, but maybe a loan again this month until the end of the season to maybe Div 1 to guarantee a bit more of a run for him would be nice.
