Benayoun As Cover For Lallana?

Benayoun As Cover For Lallana?

It's being reported that Yossi Benayoun is in talks with Saints after having his loan at West Ham cut short.

The Sun says that Nigel Adkins has targeted the out of favour Chelsea midfielder as cover owing to Adam Lallana's injury.

The paper also says that our target Will Buckley has rejected a move to St Mary's by signing a new 4 1/2 year contract at Brighton.

Talented yes, but just stalled over the last few years hasn't he. Would be surprised if he fit the mould Adkins seems to look for in players.

Well he isn't young. He isn't doing well. He is definitely not cheap. He isn't a fans favourite.

Not seen that SFC, but as said it would seem to be a strange pick for him.
