Benayoun As Cover For Lallana?

It's being reported that Yossi Benayoun is in talks with Saints after having his loan at West Ham cut short.

The Sun says that Nigel Adkins has targeted the out of favour Chelsea midfielder as cover owing to Adam Lallana's injury.

The paper also says that our target Will Buckley has rejected a move to St Mary's by signing a new 4 1/2 year contract at Brighton.

Talented yes, but just stalled over the last few years hasn't he. Would be surprised if he fit the mould Adkins seems to look for in players.

There are better younger and cheaper players out there. Fitter n stronger as well no doubt.
