'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Villa Will Be Like A Wounded Animal

Nigel Adkins has said that Saints will have to be wary of Villa as he believes they will be like a wounded animal following their recent results.

Speaking to saintsfc ahead of the game, Adkins said.

'They'll be a wounded animal after that defeat against Bradford, they are on the back of a poor defeat, but they could've scored a few goals early on and that might have changed the whole game. They are a very attack minded side and a young side who play open, attractive football. If chances come their way, they are a threat.'

Adkins points out that Christian Benteke is the biggest threat, much in the way Rickie is for us, and he knows the team will have to be at its best and take the chances as they come like we did against Stoke.
