Sorensen & Forren In?

Sorensen & Forren In?

Two transfer links of note today, both defenders.

Bologna defender Frederik Sorensen's agent has told Danish site Sporten.dk that Southampton are amongst the clubs who have contacted the players club over a move this month.

'Among the clubs who contacted Bologna for Frederik, there is also Southampton. The Premier League is an interesting option, but he is in no hurry to interrupt the journey he has taken with Bologna.'

The 20 year old defender is co-owed between Bologna and Juventus.

In other news, Nigel Adkins has refused to confirm whether a fee has been agreed for Norwegian champions Molde, over their 24 year old player Vegard Forren.

Press Association Sport believe that a fee has been accepted by the club, and Adkins said simply.

'Like everything through the transfer window, there is always going to be speculation and people talking about different deals. I think it is prudent that, until someone signs a bit of paper, you don't announce it.'

Molde boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer apparently told newspaper Romsdals Budstikke on Tuesday.

'There have been many inquiries from various English clubs, but Southampton submitted an offer.'

Liverpool won't be happy if we steal Forren from under their noses.

Would be very nice if we could sing to Forren at the game tonight to welcome him to our club. So come on boys do the deed.

Hopefully any possible doubts will have been removed by the performance of the team against Chelsea.
