We've been impressed with Adkins at MCFC in his games against us with both Scunthorpe and The Saints. Always gave your club a good image and had some bad luck this season. Sacking him is ludicrous.

I will be very disappointed if we don't see a reaction from our fans on Monday.

Chelsea fan here. The only "good" thing about this decision by your board is that it proves ours hasn't got a monopoly on stupidity. Much as I regretted the dropping of 2 points at the Bridge t'other night, as a football fan I consoled myself that the little guys had got a result v the big guys, as that is surely the beauty of football, we just never know what's going to happen. Good luck to you but even more luck to a decent man, Nigel Adkins. I hope he quickly gets another job & has more success than your new guy. Could he be another Henning Berg as per Blackburn?

It does seem that Nigel was held in fairly high regard amongst football fans and managers alike. Some of that is to do with how well he's done with a relatively small club but, even so, the comments from other ppl we've seen, just on this site, confirm it.
