Why Forren Chose Saints
Wanting to play in our Premier League Vegard thought that a trial with Liverpool was maybe his best chance of coming into English football.
After Joining Southampton he explained his reasoning for joining. When told of our interest he said yhat he was immediately interested and after meeting with the chairman knew that he wanted to come to Saints.
He said, 'The plan the chairman has for this club is fantastic. There is a good, young squad here and the way they play fits me well, so I hope I can join the team and get some good results.'
I believe that the fact we wanted him now while Liverpool needed a trial will also have helped our cause.
Hope this proves a good move and leads the way to more prospective moves coming to fruition as we search to improve our squad.
Nicola again shows the skill needed to persuade.

That would be a bit of a gamble but it depends on how Jos and Maya are rated I guess.

It looks as though Vegard was a Cortese signing and not a Nigel one. When asked who signed him, Nigel or Mau, he replied Southampton.
