Adkins - Keep Smiling
Nigel Adkins left a fantastic message for the players as they returned to training following his dismissal.
After presumably packing up his belongings, Adkins left a note on a white board at the training ground for the players, which read.
'Keep smiling, have faith and belief that you are doing the right thing. Keep looking to improve.'
Everybody has probably already seen the photo of the note, finished off with a drawn smiley face, as it's every where.
Really just shows the character of Adkins that in that moment, he still thought of the players and all the hard work they have put in for him during his time with the club.
The media are awash with rumours and speculations about the 'where's' and 'why's' of his dismissal and I'm not going to repeat them here.
Thank you for everything Nigel, and good luck in whatever and whereever you choose to go next.

That just shows the class of the man. No matter how well we are going to do he will always have a place in our hearts for the positive way in which he operated above the fact that he successfully took us from the lower reaches of Division 1 and brought ys back to the Premier League.

That is not fair. Nigel has strict code but he knows how to show a positive outlook to the outside world.
