Matt Le Tissier Goes On Anti Cortese rant

Matt Le Tissier Goes On Anti Cortese rant

Matt is without question the greatest one man band that we have had in our colours for many a long year. Year after year his sublime skills and superbly struck goals helped keep Southampton in the Premier League.

For many the man was and is a 'Legend' that could do no wrong. He is still to this day worshipped and sometimes is still called by his nickname of 'Le God'.

Now though his memory is being tarnished, and he he is beginning to sound and act like a spoilt and bitter child. A child who has had his favourite toy snatched from him.

I ask him quite simply to keep his negative thoughts about our club to himself. If he can't do that then at least tone his caustic comments down to a less personal level.

Matt I would like to remember for his footballing skill, and not for the bile that he is spouting more and more often. Let us recall those magical moments with pleasure Matt, and please stop tarnishing your image this way.

I believe you still love our club as indeed I and many others do. Please show it by showing more restraint.

His love for the club goes without saying but his constant sniping at every given opportunity is tarnishing his overall image. He backed a failed bid for the club and has been sniping ever since. I just want to remember him for what he was. A football legend.

Matt is my favourite player of all time and I love watching his video. I do not like his attitude now though.
