Saints Announce New Coaching Staff

Southampton Football Club have confirmed the appointments of Jesús Pérez, Miguel D'Agostino and Toni Jiménez to the Club's First Team management staff.

Fran Alonso will be assisting Saints' new members of staff. Fran took up his position as First Team Technical Support Coach last autumn.

Jesús Pérez - First Team Assistant Manager had previously worked as a technical coach under Pochettino during their time at RCD Espanyol. He joined Espanyol after making a name as a coach and assistant manager in his native Spain.

First Team Coach - Miguel Angel D'Agostino was like his compatriot Pochettino a defender. He joined Espanyol in 2011 and now follows Mauricio to Southampton. He will work directly with the players as well as providing technical support to the manager.

First Team Goalkeeping Coach - Antoni Jiménez Sistachs is a former Spanish international goalkeeper and Olympic gold medallist. Among his clubs were Espanyol and AC Milan. whilst at Espanyol he played behind Pochettino.

All three have worked with Pochettino before at Espanyol and they rejoin him now at Saints as we look to improve on our current position.

We wish them well and look forward to seeing the style of football which they will bring. The Saints OS article can be seen by clicking here
